Our players come from all walks of life; their various backgrounds and experiences enrich our conversations in delightful ways! While we welcome and enjoy our many small differences, we all of us share an enjoyment of making music, delivering performances to be proud of. Our members support each other always, and take rehearsing and performing seriously, but this does not get in the way of humour and general bonhomie!<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

This dapper gent (ALWAYS dapper!) is Clive Hunt who played viola with the PSO until his death in 2025; remembered with deep affection by all who knew him.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

This is Ellie, leader of the second violins. She is wonderfully conscientious about arranging bowing for the section. In addition, she is the orchestra’s librarian. (This is not an easy task.
