CONCERT – Sunday 18th October, 2.30pm

 A Debut!

The legendary folk hero King Arthur is represented in a seven movement new composition by local composer Greg Williams, with familiar music by Vaughan Williams, Rossini and Weber completing the first concert of the season.

Concert – Sunday December 6th, 2.30pm  

Seasonal!

As well as Leroy Anderson’s A Christmas Festival, music by George Gershwin, John Williams and John Dankworth will also add to the seasonal flavour of the concert.

Love is in the Air!

The Sound of Music, The Merry Widow, and Kiss Me Kate melodies along with music by Chopin, Elgar and Delius compete the line up for this most romantic day of the year.

Anniversaries!

2027 is a year to recognise the bicentennial death of that most famous of composers, Ludvig van Beethoven, and a year also to acknowledge the music of Tchaikovsky, Shostakovich, Elgar and Josef Strauss (brother of Johann Strauss II).
